Four words for you – No Building Permit Required! That’s right, as with any accessory structure that does not exceed 200 square feet in size within the state of Connecticut does not require a building permit. That is the reason why so many customers choose either this size or a 10x20.
This shed is featured with our classic New England packages. These options consist of wider eave and gable trim, wider corner trim, wider door trim, Z style shutters, classic New England hinges, and 6” taller walls on 6,8,and 10, wide structures. We placed additional transom windows in the single entry door, and as you enter into the shed there are 3 16” shelves to the right. People often add shelves to 12x16’s and 10x20’s because now in theory you just obtained more than 200 square feet of storage space!
From the exterior you will see a black textured metal roof, and from the inside you will see ¼” double bubble insulation which reduces sweating when there are temperature variations between the inside and outside of the building. The double doors have a ramp system with 4 ramps, and the single entry door has a 3’ diamond kick plate to protect the entrance way.
